In the 20th century, L'Écorcerie became home to a voluntary hospital, initiated by the owner at the time, Mr Béliard. It opened its doors to the wounded, and this spirit of solidarity lasted well beyond the end of the war, with the establishment continuing to operate until the end of the 1950s.

In 1974, the Boutaud family became the new custodians of these walls filled with history. For 45 memorable years, l'Écorcerie was the privileged witness to unforgettable moments: births, weddings, christenings and joyous family reunions forged an unbreakable bond between the estate and all those who had the privilege of crossing its threshold.

Today, l'Écorcerie continues to perpetuate this tradition of warm welcome and shared moments, offering visitors a unique experience steeped in charm, history and conviviality.
