Where is the hotel located?
The hotel Le Domaine de l'Ecorcerie is located in the commune of Ligugé, 5 minutes from the A10 Poitiers Sud exit. Poitiers train station is 15 minutes away by car, Biard airport is also 15 minutes away and the Futuroscope park is around 20 minutes away.
What are the opening hours of the hotel reception?
The hotel reception is open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Opening times may change depending on the season and during school holidays.
What are the hotel's arrival and departure times?
To ensure a smooth and pleasant experience, please note our check-in and check-out times:
Check-in is possible from 03:00 pm.
Check-out time is before 10:00 am.
Please note that any check-out after this time will incur an additional charge of €20. We would also like to remind you that our team is available to welcome you until 08:00 pm.
Can the hotel accommodate people with disabilities?
Yes, the hotel is equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility (PRM), please make a request at the time of booking. The room is located on the ground floor and has direct access to the outside.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Pet dogs are allowed on request (extra charge of EUR 15 per day per animal), while assistance dogs are allowed at no extra charge. Only one dog is accepted per room and per booking in the Jean Bouchet room (the only room available to accommodate you and your dog).
What types of accommodation are available at the hotel?
At the hotel, you can choose from three room categories (see the "Rooms" tab). The Fée Mélusine and Michel Foucault rooms have a private terrace overlooking the forest.
Can I have breakfast at the hotel?
The hotel offers breakfasts at 16 euros per person per day. This continental breakfast is served as a buffet, featuring fresh products from short distribution channels as well as organic and local products.
Does the hotel have a car park?
The hotel offers its guests free private parking at the rear of the building, as well as spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility in front of the chapel.
Does the hotel have a swimming pool and sauna?
Hotel guests can enjoy a 12x4 swimming lane heated in summer with a breathtaking view of the forest, providing the ideal setting for relaxing in privacy and rejuvenating in the heart of nature.
The sauna is located opposite the swimming pool and is available at an additional cost.

Can we organise a meeting at the hotel? Do you offer catering?
The hotel has a 70m² room that can seat up to 50 people. The hotel does not have a restaurant apart from breakfast, but we do work with a well-known caterer in Poitiers. We work in partnership with them to draw up a quotation to suit your culinary preferences for your event.
Is it possible to order drinks for the room in advance?
Yes, it is entirely possible to pre-order drinks to be placed in your room prior to your arrival. Simply let us know your beverage preferences and quantities, and we'll make sure they're waiting for you in your room when you arrive.
